Funding

There are a number of funding options available for people to use to assist with paying for Allied Health services. These include:

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

KIK Therapy can provide services under the NDIS for self and plan managed clients. We can discuss this with you and/or your support coordinator.

Private Health Insurance

Some extras cover will pay a proportion of fees for Allied Health. Your fund should be able to provide information on what it covers, alternatively if you contact us and provide details, we can discuss with them.

Medicare

Rebates may be available for certain conditions which will cover a limited proportion of costs for a number of sessions. These will require a referral from your General Practitioner, or Specialist, depending on the condition.

Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA)

DVA can assist with coverage of service fees for Gold Card holders, and where the condition is covered for a White Card holder. A referral is necessary from your treating doctor.

Standard rate

The standard consultation rate for Allied Health services is $190 / hour.
